Only God Can Renew His People. Only God Can Save the City.

Let us meet in holy agreement, whether two or three (Matt. 18.20) or an entire gallery of petitioners (2 Chron. 20) to seek the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord on behalf of the city. Let us do so in our individual prayer closets, our cell groups and small group studies, in our congregations and church services, in our prayer meetings and convocations, in our concerts of prayer–in vigils, retreats, homes, schools–wherever the Lord lays on our hearts to petition him for a visitation for the cities, and for our city. Let us commit to laying hold of God until he visits us. If we do, the cities of America (and perhaps, of the entire world) will never be the same.
