Conclusion Let me ask the question again that this chapter began with: how do you help a eagle-who-thinks-s/he-is-a-chicken live into their true identity? The answer is more clearly seen now: Tell them the truth. Help them to put off their old self, renew their mind, and put on their new self, day by day by day. We would need to teach the eagle that he’s not and never was a chicken (put off the old man with its evil desires), disciple the eagle in God’s design for eagle hood (be renewed in the spirit of your mind), and challenge the eagle to start acting like one (put on the new man, created by God’s likeness).

In our next chapter we will explore the idea of representing Christ, an idea all agents of the Kingdom must understand and embrace.
