Reading Assignment

Please turn in to your instructor your reading assignment sheet containing your summary of the reading material for the week. Make certain that you have selected your Bible passage for your exegetical project, and make sure that you understand the standards and due dates for your ministry project. Word to the wise: it is better to be organized and ahead of schedule than be forced into last minute cramming. Talk with your Mentor, and make sure that you have all the necessary information, and have turned in your selections in plenty of time so you can begin to complete these assignments on time. Our final lesson will concentrate on the attributes of God’s goodness . God’s marvelous goodness is expressed in his moral attributes of his perfect moral purity, absolute integrity, and unbounded love. In regards to his perfect moral purity, we’ll examine his holiness, righteousness, and justice. In connection to his integrity, we’ll explore his genuineness, veracity, and faithfulness. Finally, in regards to his love, we will highlight his benevolence, grace, mercy, and persistence. We will also explore together the relationship between God’s goodness and his severity, examining the wrath of God and its relationship to his wonderful love.
