II. Christ as the Preexistent Word ( Logos )
A. The Preexistent Logos: God was manifested in the flesh.

1 Tim. 3.16 - Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: he was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. Isa. 7.14 - Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
