The Cross is arguably one of the most visible symbols of the Christian faith, and least understood. Today, the Cross is represented in every conceivable way, from trinkets and lockets, on bracelets and T-shirts, to church art and architecture. It is a staple in the West and despised in many places of the world. One company makes a cross of coin-size that fits in the pocket to remind you of the price paid for our sin. What is your view of the commercialization of the cross, and how might such activities dull us to the true meaning of the passion of Christ?
