1. Ebionism: Christ is not God.

2. Arianism: Christ is not fully God.

a. Arius was a presbyter (church leader) in Alexandria in the early Church who denied Jesus’ divinity.

b. His views were condemned at the Council of Nicea (the same Council that gave us the Nicene Creed).
