4. Eight days later: the disciples inside again, this time, with Thomas present, 20.26a
5. Though the doors were locked Jesus came and stood among them: Peace be with you , 20.26.
6. Jesus addresses Thomas, 20.27.

(1) Luke 1.2 – just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us. (3) Acts 1.3 – To them he presented himself alive after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.
(4) Acts 4.20 – For we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.
(5) 2 Pet. 1.16 – For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
