Healing the Wounds of Trauma

If the church knows that a member raped someone, the church leaders should talk to himor her about it. If rapists confess and repent, the church should extend God’s forgiveness to them. If they do not repent, they should be excluded from the church, both to protect others and to bring them to repentance. In either case, the laws of the land need to be applied, if the victim agrees to this.
