Affirmation for the Day Sunday: As Christ overcame the three tests from the enemy, so we overcome temptations by the power of the Word of God. Monday: The same Spirit that led Jesus through the wilderness leads believers still today. Tuesday: Christ’s own dependence on God’s Word shows us how to depend on God’s provision today. Wednesday: Just as Christ pleased the Father, so now his Spirit empowers us to honor God. Thursday: If we depend on him, God will grant us the power to meet tests even as Jesus met the tests in the desert. Friday: May we trust in the Father’s care as Jesus trusted in his care during the days of his trials in the wilderness. Saturday: There are no effective shortcuts in our journey to follow Christ and fulfill our mission.
