As a result, Traditionals often find Emergings (and Postmodernity) difficult to categorize, and sometimes count them as a threat. Focus of Energy The Traditional Method is defined by its loyalty to a Rationalistic Bible and the Cross (for personal salvation) , longs for the glory days (The Reformation, the 1950s, or some other period), and is allied against the Roman Catholic Church, liberalism, or Postmodernity. Because of these factors, the Traditional Method focuses its energy on a return to a Rationalistic emphasis on the Bible as a means of combating its antagonists. Therefore, their slogan could be: “Give me that old time religion, it’s good enough for me.”
