Identification with the Church’s Sacred Roots is not the pursuit of a method. Methods prompt questions like, “Is it working? Are they coming? Are they fed? Is it relevant to Postmodernity?” The better question is, “Are we faithful to the Story in all aspects of our life together?” If so, a church can be free frommethodological anxieties.
