can change the eternal address of a soul and transport them from the Kingdom of Darkness to the Kingdom of God? Every story is comprised of key elements. These elements, when put together communicate the full story. There are a variety of excellent tools and models that communicate the full Gospel story. Here is a simple tool that I have designed called the five “Ps” of The Gospel. It is easy to memorize. Each “P” (element) of the Gospel has a corresponding short phrase that introduces the “P”. All five elements are necessary to share in one way or another for the whole Gospel message to be fully declared. There is no limit to one’s imagination on building upon each element. This allows for any culture to expand on the “P” (element) with their stories, history, values, beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, without compromising the critical elements of the Gospel. The five “Ps” of the Gospel are described as follows along with key verses: 1. Purpose: The Reign of God Every kingdom has boundaries which the king has rule and reign over. Within those boundaries are the subjects of the rule of that king. When God created the world, and all that is in it, His creative work was good, perfect, and He reigned over it in love, for God is love (1 John 4.8b). His crowning work was Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, for they were created in His very image. They had perfect fellowship and relationship with their Creator. A relationship of love, honor, and respect. (Gen. 1; Ps. 19.1-4; Phil. 2.9-11; Rev. 11.15). God’s Kingdom, His rule and reign, extended to all His creation. Adam and Eve were at perfect peace, resting in God’s perfect rule and reign. 2. Problem: TheWrath of God Adam and Eve were not content to rest in the peace of God’s perfect rule and reign in their lives. Through the deception of a fallen created angel, Satan (the ancient Serpent) deceived them
