1. Continuing signs to the Lordship of Christ

John 14.12-14 (ESV) – “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. [13] Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”

2. Deliverances, healings, and transformation: the Kingdom invades the demonic sphere

Matt. 16. 18 (ESV) – And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Mark 16.17-18 (ESV) – And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; [18] they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover. Heb. 2.3-4 (ESV) – how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, [4] while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

3. The empowering presence of the Holy Spirit in all we say and do

a. The power of the Spirit in the body, 1 Cor. 12.3-11

b. The powers of the world to come in the presence of the Holy Spirit, Heb. 6.4
