Job Summary
Professors are responsible for developing and/or implementing courses, teaching classes, tutoring students, and leading seminars and conferences that fulfill the goals and objectives of The Urban Ministry Institute.
A professor is an Institute instructor who develops and/ or implements courses, teaching classes, tutoring students, and leading seminars and conferences that fulfill the goals of your Institute.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and teach courses 2. Evaluate student progress 3. Tutor students who need additional help 4. Assist students in applying learning to their specific ministry situation
Qualifications
Vision Professors should possess a commitment to the ministry of the Church in the city and to the discipling of leaders who can advance God’s Kingdom in the city. Character Professors must display a strong personal commitment to Jesus Christ. They must exhibit Christ-like character and follow World Impact’s “Affirmation of Faith Statement.” Education Professors must have an academic degree in a field related to the courses they teach.
