Dear Mr. Student,

Greetings in Christ! This letter regretfully informs you that you will not be able to enroll for the [x semester] here at [your Institute]. We place a great emphasis on our student body’s involvement and active participation in their churches and related ministries. In evaluating your admission materials, we believe that you need to be active and involved in your current church for a longer period of time. This will allow you to become better known by your current leaders, as well as help you discern the area of ministry God would have you to be trained for here with us. Please understand that our current decision does not disqualify you from reapplying, even as early as next semester. In spite of the difficulties this semester, we believe you ought to consider reapplying for some upcoming session, if God leads you to do so. Further, we are open to confidentially discussing your application process with you, and to work with you to make your next application here successful. As you prayerfully consider your future, we would ask that you please keep us in mind. God will continue to lead you and us as we pursue his will for our lives and his Church.

Yours in Christ,

[ Your Institute ]
