Recording Your Students’ Courses and Grades Your Institute exists to facilitate and equip leaders for the urban church and your record keeping is a key element in making this happen. Careful record keeping is critical in knowing the status of each student - financially, academically, and ministerially. The following appendices were designed specifically to help you assign course numbers and credit hours for your site-developed courses, create student tran- scripts, record individual student grades for each course, and formally inform your students of their success in their studies. Transcripts ➢ will help you and your students carefully track individual student progress toward the goal of success-fully completing the program(s) you have chosen for your Institute. Though the main point of the courses you host is not grades, your students will anxiously await their transcripts at the end of each course. Once you have received the student grades from the mentor or professor of a course, this booklet will help you to accurately and efficiently record grades and create transcripts for your students.

➢ Please note: You are required to issue a written transcript to each student at the completion of each class.
