The Satellite Advantage: Why You Should Become a Satellite of The Urban Ministry Institute

Although you need not become a satellite of The Urban Ministry Institute ( TUMI ) in order to use our resources, there are obvious benefits to doing so. As an approved satellite of TUMI , the following programs and services are available to you: Programs 1. Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies : Completion of the entire Capstone Curriculum (32 credit hours) 2. Certificate in Urban Theological Studies : Site Approved 1 : Any combination of denominational, professor-created, self-written, or TUMI-provided courses, 32 credit hours total. 3. Ministerial Studies Diploma : Site Approved: Any combination of denomina- tional, professor-created, self-written, or TUMI-provided courses, 64 credit hours total. Services 1. O ngoing administrative support: We are available for advice, encourage- ment, or any input you may need in order to establish and efficiently run your satellite. 2. A cademic consultation and advice: Whether it is advice and approval of a program you are seeking, or input regarding course materials, our experienced faculty are available to answer your questions. 3. C urriculum materials and training resources at discount prices: Our premier resources are the Capstone Curriculum 2 and The Foundations for Ministry Series 3 . We are dedicated to facilitating leadership development among urban churches, and intend to produce a wide variety of resources, events, and programs to help in this vision.
