Joshua conquered Canaan in the Central campaign including Jericho and Ai (chaps. 6-8), the Southern campaign (including the alliance and defense of the Gibeonites (chaps. 9-10), and the Northen campaign (chaps. 11.1-15). 2. The book of Joshua reviews Joshua’s victories, both the areas whipped and the kings defeated (chaps. 11-12), and the division of land among the tribes (chaps. 13-21), with special attention given to Caleb’s inheritance in chapter 14.

3. Joshua resolves a border dispute among the tribes in chapter 22, and gives a final challenge to the leaders and to the people in chapters 23 and 24 respectively.

4. The entire book of Joshua reveals one major thing about his character: Joshua don’t play!

a. His chest would have been filled with medals from the numerous battles fought and won in the Lord’s name and power.

b. They conquered significant land (11.16-12.24), and 31 kings (chap. 12)!

Be Free of Guilt, Regret, and Shame in Christ Alone

You don’t have to live with guilt, regret, or shame anymore. Too many people are stuck with memories from their past that they can’t get over. Either you’ve been hurt and have resentment or you’ve hurt someone else and you have guilt. God doesn’t want you to carry that heavy baggage throughout your life. He wants you to be free. That’s one reason God gave us the Bible. He uses his Word to eradicate our guilt. ~ Rick Warren
