2. Party whistle style doesn’t care if it plays any given notes in any order. It only blows a single sound, with no melody or arrangement. Trumpet style , however, concentrates on making things clear so everyone knows what to do, how to act, and where to go, in the right place and time. (1 Cor. 14.7-8 – If even lifeless instruments, such as the flute or the harp, do not give distinct notes, how will anyone know what is played? [8] And if the bugle gives an indistinct sound, who will get ready for battle?) 3. Party whistle style usually only draws attention to itself, while Trumpet style plays the song that encourages the heart, mobilizes the troops, and lifts up the spirit. (Judg. 7.16-18 – And he divided the 300 men into three companies and put trumpets into the hands of all of them and empty jars, with torches inside the jars. [17] And he said to them, “Look at me, and do likewise. When I come to the outskirts of the camp, do as I do. 18 When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then blow the trumpets also on every side of all the camp and shout, ‘For the LORD and for Gideon.’”)

C. The Key Implications: Anyone who sacrifices for the sake of Christ and his Kingdom will receive much more than they offered, and never feel regret or remorse over it.

1. Those who offer all will receive 100 times more than they offered, along with the persecution that comes from serving Jesus!, Mark 10.25-30 – It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” [26] And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him, “Then who can be saved?” [27] Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” [28] Peter began to say to him, “See, we have left everything and followed you.” [29] Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, [30] who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers

and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.
