Friday: Before we knew Christ by faith, we were not a people, but now, having believed, we belong to God and have been forgiven. Saturday: Everything that God claimed concerning his chosen covenant people, Israel, is now also true for believers in Jesus Christ. Pray without Ceasing – Flash Prayer for the Day Grant me the grace to live as your priest or priestess, representing you in this world wherever I may go and with whomever I may meet.

For Your Weekly Journey

Weekly Reflection on the Priesthood of All Believers Priests are people of praise and prayer. They are foremost worshippers of God. Praise is perhaps the most explicit behavior connected to our priestly identity in the New Testament because it is specially linked to 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God that you may declare the Praises of himwho called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
