Doxology (and/or closing song) Praise God fromwhom all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below; Praise Him above ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen. Departing to Serve

Benediction Lord Jesus, thank you for Paul’s explanation of the Gospel here in this passage in Corinthians. This is not an invented or exaggerated message; rather, Paul has given to us what your messengers gave to him. You died, were buried, and rose the third day, and appeared to witnesses. We believe you will return and gather your own to yourself. Give us the grace to stand on the Gospel, till the end. In your name, amen. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: The Gospel declares that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, he who died for our sin, was raised from death, and one day will return to make all things new. Monday: The Gospel is built upon the apostolic tradition; we confess what the eyewitnesses saw and witnessed concerning Jesus of Nazareth. Tuesday: The Gospel declares that Jesus, the Messiah, died for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. Wednesday: Jesus appeared to many after he was raised from the dead: to Cephas, the twelve, to five hundred, to James and the apostles, and to Paul. Thursday: The Gospel of Messiah’s death, burial, and resurrection saves and rescues us, and we will cling to it as our anchor and hope.
