Thursday: God’s command to us is that those who love God love people as well. Friday: God demonstrated his love for us by sending his Son into the world that we might live through him. Saturday: To love best, we must acknowledge God’s unmerited favor and love for us. Pray without Ceasing – Flash Prayer for the Day Jesus, dear Savior whose love won me back to God, fill me with your love that I may testify to love where you have placed me today.

For Your Weekly Journey

Weekly Reflection on the Priesthood of All Believers While the priesthood of believers affirms the dignity and right of every Christian to access God, it carries with it the chief notion of responsibility. Christians have access to God and his Word in order that they might minister the latter in its many forms to one another. Luther’s linking of the priesthood of believers with the Word of God brings out the New Testament’s emphasis on the community and, in particular, the “one another” aspects of the Christian’s vocation.
