Departing to Serve

Benediction Holy Spirit, reveal to each of us the gifts that you have given us, and open up our hearts and minds to see how we may engage in the lives of others. Your gifts and calling are undeniable; we desire to honor God through the gifts you have granted to us. Make us fruitful through your grace, in Christ’s name, amen. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: The Holy Spirit has granted to every believer unique gifts for the ministry of the church. Monday: Every believer in Christ has received a gift from God through the Spirit. Tuesday: God gives each disciple of Christ gifts that we may use them to serve one another. Wednesday: All believers are called to be good “stewards of God’s varied grace,” making good use of the Spirit’s gifts. Thursday: Whatever the gift the Spirit gives, seek opportunity to use your gifts actively in the church where you serve. Friday: We must use our gifts that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. Saturday: Do not waste the grace of God he has given you. Find and use the Spirit’s gifts he has granted to you.
