Affirmation for the Day Sunday: The Spirit-filled Church displays the shalom (peace, wholeness) of God’s Kingdom. Monday: Signs and wonders display the power of God to overcome the curse. Tuesday: Devotion to the Apostles’ teaching shows God’s power to transform our mind. Wednesday: Sharing possessions in common shows the power of God to overcome selfishness and greed. Thursday: Giving to those in need displays the kingdom ethic of loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. Friday: Worshipping together displays God’s power to reorient our hearts. Saturday: As the Church displays the shalom of God’s Kingdom, the Lord adds to the number of those being saved.
