Affirmation for the Day Sunday: We who represent Jesus must follow his same humble example in loving service and lowly pattern. Monday: We ought to wash one another’s feet, even as Christ washed his disciples’ feet. Tuesday: Christ’s life has given us an example, that we also should do just as he has done for us, in giving himself for the world. Wednesday: A servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Thursday: If we know these truths regarding Jesus, his lowliness, and his pattern for us, we will be blessed if we do them. Friday: Whoever receives the one that Jesus sends receives him as well, and whoever receives Jesus, receives the Father who sent him. Saturday: The true meaning of leadership is seen Jesus’s example of lowly service and humble care for others.
