Departing to Serve

Benediction Eternal God our Father, thank you for the victory you purchased for all humankind through the death and resurrection of your Son. Now, grant to us by your Holy Spirit the mindset and the spirit to fight against the foes which would seek to undermine our lives and harm your Kingdom. Do this for the sake of Your Son, our Champion and Help. In His Name we pray, amen. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: We fight with spiritual weapons which demolish strongholds and bring every thought captive to Christ. Monday: The universe is at war, the forces of God against the forces of the world and the enemy. Tuesday: In the conflict between God and his enemies, Jesus Christ has won the victory through his death and resurrection. Wednesday: The weapons we fight with are not the same weapons that the world uses. Thursday: The weapons of our warfare have the divine power to destroy strongholds of the enemy. Friday: While the enemy is defeated, he has not been fully destroyed. We must resist him, firm in our faith. Saturday: We can destroy arguments and every lofty opinion against the knowledge of God, and bring every throught captive to obey Christ.
