According to God’s holy promise, the saints of Christ will dine at the marriage supper of the Lamb, a feast of love and communion with the risen Lord and Savior himself. The Feast of Christ the King, the last Sunday before Advent, anticipates the day when Christ will reign supreme, and the saints of God will never again leave the presence of their Lord.

TODAY’S THEME The Everlasting Dominion to Come, Daniel 7.1-18

Jesus of Nazareth is the future King of the Kingdom of God, the fulfillment of the Son of Man of Daniel’s prophecy of the Kingdom to come. Jesus has been granted dominion over all principalities, powers, rulers, and authorities, and one day in the future he will consummate the Kingdom as the King of kings and Lord of lords, reigning over all peoples and nations as heir to David’s throne. He shall gather all the saints together in his everlasting dominion, and his rule will never end.
