E. Biblical truth and the created order are both revelations of God, and correspond and reinforce one another (Erickson, p. 42). 1. God is the source for both kinds of revelation. 2. As sources of truth about God, they complement and supplement each other. F. Human knowledge and human morality, to the extent that they are truth, all arise from God (Erickson, p. 42). 1. All truth everywhere in every domain is God’s truth. 2. All right in every sphere mirrors God’s own righteousness. 3. Human knowledge and ethical right is a “spark” from the flame of the Almighty.
