Kingdom Texts in the New Testament (continued)

Matt. 20.1 (ESV) - For the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Matt. 20.21 (ESV) - And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.” Matt. 21.31 (ESV) - “Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you.” Matt. 21.43 (ESV) - Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. Matt. 22.2 (ESV) - The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. Matt. 23.13 (ESV) - But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. Matt. 24.7 (ESV) - For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. Matt. 24.14 (ESV) - And this gospel of the kingdomwill be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matt. 25.1 (ESV) - Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Matt. 25.34 (ESV) - Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Matt. 26.29 (ESV) - I tell you, I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom. Mark 1.15 (ESV) - . . . and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Mark 3.24 (ESV) - And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
