The Center and Circumference: Christianity Is Jesus Christ (continued)

• We were buried with him, Rom. 6.3-4. • We were raised with him, Eph. 2.4-7. • We are ascended with him, Eph. 2.6. • We sit in the heavenly places with him, Eph. 2.6. • In this world, we take his yoke upon us and carry the burden and cross that he has assigned to us, Matt. 11.28-30. • In this world, we are called to suffer with him, Rom. 8.17-18; Phil. 1.29-30. • Whether we live or die, we belong completely to the Lord Jesus, Rom. 14.7-9 (ESV) - For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. [8] If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. [9] For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. • We will be glorified with him, Rom. 8.17. • We will be resurrected in him, 1 Cor. 15.48-49.

• We will be made like him, 1 John 3.2. • We are joint-heirs with him, Rom. 8.17. • We will reign forever with him, Rev. 3.
