Evaluation measures critically but sympathetically our team and individual performance in order to gain information about how we might build upon our strengths and compensate for our limitations.

1. Evaluation involves reviewing our actual deeds against our expectations.
2. This is for the purpose of gaining wisdom into team performance, not assessing blame or guilt.
3. Evaluation, from both leaders and members, requires a sympathetic but careful look at each team member’s performance against their goals and the role’s job description or criteria.
