What are the half-way houses or community placement homes available for those in need of such care? 11. What is currently being done in terms of illegitimacy and issues surrounding family planning and care in the community? 12. What provision is being made for the lowering the numbers of people exposed to contagious disease, especially STD’s and the AIDS virus? 13. What (if any) are special medical needs or problems confronted by the community? Who has been placed in charge of alleviating these problems, and what is their current rate of success in doing so? 14. What sort of programs exist for the education of the general public regarding safety and health issues in the community? 1. What recreational facilities, hangouts, or spots exist in the community (parks, zoos, pedestrian malls, exercise facilities, music places, clubs, public swimming pools, bowing alleys, sports complexes, etc.)? What are the key commercial amusement centers in the community? 2. Who frequents these various places? Do certain members of the community tend to frequent only special places of interest? 3. What places of recreation or association are not necessarily wholesome or are associated with problem or delinquent activity in the community? 4. What needs does the community have in terms of providing acceptable entertainment under wholesome conditions for its residents, especially its youth? 5. Are the more wholesome places of recreation accessible to all members of the community? 6. Is there sufficient variety and opportunity for play and leisure for all age groups within the community? 7. What is the condition and availability of the parks and public places in the community?
