B. The problem of care giving : what are our limits in actually offering help to others–what can we do to help people during times of distress and trial?

1. Outside of being available, giving time, and placing ourselves and our resources at another’s disposal we can do nothing for them.

2. Every person must bear their own load, Gal. 6.4.

3. We are to be found faithful over those things that we can and ought to do, the rest is up to the person and the Lord, 1 Cor. 4.1-2.
