or informally, as a shepherd, i.e., one who provides care and seeks the ongoing protection, feeding, and guidance for the members of the flock, Christ: guarding and watching the flock, feeding and nourishing the flock, tending and caring for the flock, and guiding and leading the flock. We must seek God’s mind as we minister to those who are encountering special problems, dealing with the problem of evil, the problem of limited resources, the problem of anger towards God, and the problem of wanting vengeance over against forgiveness.

One of the most important elements in our Capstone modules is the ministry project, an opportunity for you to apply the insights of your module in a practicum that you and your mentor agree to. The ramifications of your ability to use what you have learned are enormous. God’s desire is for us through the application of the Word of God in our lives to actually grow as Christians and leader. Practice is critical to this process; we are called to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3.18). The ramifications for your own ministry in this are numerous and rich: think of all the ways that this teaching can influence your devotional life, your prayers, your response to your church, your attitude at work, and on and on and on. What is critical now is that you review these insights from the module and begin to seriously correlate this teaching with your life, work, and ministry. The ministry
