3
2. A strong community: discipline will strengthen the resolve of the body members to stand for what glorifies and honors God according to his Word.
3. A safe family: discipline will protect members of the body from “wolves in sheep’s clothing” who seek to prey on the members of the community .
4. A solid testimony: discipline will build a sense of reputation that suggests that the community has integrity (they believe certain things and are willing to live by their beliefs).
5. A Savior who is glorified and pleased: discipline will handle delicate and difficult issues with grace and mercy when godly spiritual leaders guide the process with sensitivity and openness to God the Holy Spirit and the truth .
