No mobilization of the Church can occur without the clear, recognized blessing and support of its leaders. As God’s servants to the body of Christ, they are the officers of the Lord under him, the Commander- in-Chief of God’s Kingdom, and, as such, must give their blessing to any legitimate spiritual activity or initiative, in order for it to have God’s blessing and provision. If the cities of America are to have any chance of being redeemed and healed from the devil’s tyranny, urban pastors must be released to be the kind of leaders worthy of the risen Christ, and be willing to lead their people in new, fresh ways in order that they may make a difference in the places now ravaged by the devil. The pastors, their hearts and minds, are the key to this transformation. For Chapters on the Inside Your church- or ministry-sponsored SIAFU Chapter will be under the authority of the corrections facility. Although you should be free to minister to and encourage the men or women in your SIAFU Chapter, you have no spiritual authority over them. Continue to encourage, rebuke, exhort, challenge, build up, comfort and teach them but realize that all of their authority is in the corrections system they are a part of.
