A. Return to the historic shape of Christian worship in community

1. Reconsider restoring the four-fold structure as you make corporate worship the center of your shared spirituality in the gathered assembly (in Word, worship, prayer, and the Lord’s Supper).

2. Embrace the rhythm of authentic spiritual structure as outlined in Scripture.

a. Morning and/or evening sacrifice

b. Weekly gathering in the body

c. Monthly convocation and observances

d. Seasonal and special gatherings for emphasis and depth

3. Rediscover in your assembly the “priesthood of all believers” shown principally in the full participation of all members in offering sacrifices of praise to God.

4. Rediscover biblical image of the “Tent of Meeting” (Tabernacle) understanding of relationship with God (church as antitype of the Tabernacle): reclaim the gathering as the heart of biblical spirituality.

B. Nourish discipleship in personal and family disciplines shared by all anchored in the practices of the Church Year.
