He rolled away the stone to give notice of his life, since it had guarded over his death.” 125 “Pray brothers,” Chrysologus concluded his message, “that the angel may descend now and roll away all hardness from our heart and remove the barriers to our understanding. For our heart is a heaven in which Christ lives and reigns, unless our breast remains a tomb in which Christ is dead and buried!” Mentor thanked the two Bishops, Leo and Chrysologus, as they returned to their places. Meanwhile, I wrote down as many of their comments as I could recall with the help of my friends’ recollections.
