Chapter 7: The Last Times

“Shouldn’t we be getting back to the hotel?” asked Joseph, after we discussed what we had learned during the Fullness of Time . “But there are so many witnesses we’ve not heard from yet,” said Father Greg. “Besides, time begins as soon as we leave,” Cesar reminded us. “What’s left in the Story of God?” asked Preacher. “The Last Times ,” announced Mentor, “Yes, the rapture!” replied Preacher. “No,” Mentor corrected, “that falls during the following episode—the End Times . “What’s the Last Times about?” asked Preacher. “The Holy Spirit is poured out,” called Irenaeus, from his place in the pre-Nicene choir. “The birth of the Church,” added Justin Martyr. “This is our own age,” explained Father Greg, “and it’s what we have in common with the ancient witnesses because we all live in the Last Times.”
