Appendix 22 Preaching and Teaching Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah and Lord Is the Heart of All Biblical Ministry Rev. Dr. Don L. Davis Phil. 3.8 (ESV) – Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ [Messiah] Jesus my Lord . For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ [Messiah] . Acts 5.42 (ESV) – And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ [Messiah] .
1 Cor. 1.23 (ESV) – but we preach Christ [Messiah] crucified , a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles.
