II. The Holy Spirit in the Teaching Ministry

Acts 1.8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

The Holy Spirit Alone Makes the Word Come Alive for Us

The Bible does not reveal all truth, we have to find out scientific truth and common-sense truth for ourselves, but knowledge of the Truth, our Lord Himself, is only possible through the reception of the Holy Spirit. “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth.” The Holy Spirit alone makes the Word of God understandable. The regenerating and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit is to incorporate us into Christ until we are living
