* How do you feel about proclaiming the Word of God in public ? Do such situations make you nervous, or do you feel liberated when you have proclaimed the Word before others? What is the largest group you have ever shared the Good News with before? How did that presentation affect you, both in terms of those who heard you , as well as how it made you feel afterwards? * Do you tend to take personally the response of others to your delivery of the Word to them? Are you able to separate your proclamation of the Word to others, and the response they give to the Word that you proclaim? * Have you been more effective and fruitful in ministry to those who are lost in terms of mixed audiences , or do you seem to be more gifted and oriented around upbuilding of the saved in a Christian community situation? Explain. * How much do you empathize with the preaching ministry of our Lord and his apostles, in other words, when you read of their ministry do you have a sense that this is what God is calling you to be and do as well ? * Are you inclined to a more public or private style of ministry? If you were aware of that, how would you change your approach in sharing with others? * If you had to give your most educated and spiritual response to what you believe the Holy Spirit’s call is on your life, what would you say? What is your spiritual gift, and how does it relate to the ministry of preaching? * How would you evaluate yourself in terms of both the cardinal virtue of preaching and its corresponding cardinal vice , (courage and cowardice respectively)? Are you willing to say whatever God wants you to say, regardless of what others say or think? Explain. * To what extent do you feel able to preach the Good News regarding the person and work of Jesus Christ to others, whether at home, on the job, in the neighborhood, or in ministering to others?
