1. Use the Church calendar to give an annual retelling of the Story of Jesus to your congregation.

2. Use the lectionary (the three year rotating preaching schedule) to teach through the entire Bible every year or three years.

3. Use your commitment to the whole counsel of God to help your people view the story of Christ and his Kingdom in every section and book of the Scriptures, Luke 24.44-48.

III. Make Connections with Their Response: Affirm the Word as a MIRROR to Reveal to the Listener Their Exact Spiritual Position and Condition before God.

Prepare and preach sermons that point to concrete ways that your hearers may respond in faith and obedience to God’s Word.
