Initiative 1: The Evangel School of Urban Church Planting The Evangel School of Urban Church Planting assesses, strategically plans, coaches, and resources planters to enter into the poorest of poor communities with the power of the Gospel to establish an outpost of the Kingdom of God leading to the spiritual liberation of souls. Initiative 2: The Evangel School of Urban Church Planting, Dean Training The Evangel School of Urban Church Planting, Dean Training, assesses, equips, certifies, commissions, and resources Deans to host an Evangel School of Urban Church Planting in their context. The 10 principles that guide our church planting efforts 1. Jesus is Lord (Matt. 9.37-38) 2. Evangelize, Equip, and Empower unreached people to reach people (1 Thess. 1.6-8) 3. Be inclusive: whosoever will may come (Rom. 10.12) 4. Be culturally neutral: Come just as you are (Col. 3.11) 5. Avoid a fortress mentality (Acts 1.8) 6. Continue to evangelize to avoid stagnation (Rom. 1.16-17) 7. Cross racial, class, gender, and language barriers 8. Respect the dominance of the receiving culture 9. Avoid dependence (Eph. 4.11-16) 10.
