wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals. [16] And there will be a highway from Assyria for the remnant that remains of his people, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt. [XII.] You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O L ORD , for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. [2] “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the L ORD G OD [2] is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” [3] With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. [4] And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the L ORD , call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. [5] “Sing praises to the L ORD , for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. [6] Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” Isa. 19.2 (ESV) - And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom. Isa. 51.4-5 (ESV) - Give attention to me, my people, and give ear to me, my nation; for a law will go out from me, and I will set my justice for a light to the peoples. [5] My righteousness draws near, my salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples; the coastlands hope for me, and for my arm they wait. Isa. 60.9-13 (ESV) - For the coastlands shall hope for me, the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your children from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of the L ORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has made you beautiful. [10] Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you. [11] Your gates shall be open continually; day and night they shall not be shut, that people may bring to you the wealth of the nations, with their kings led in procession. [12] For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste. [13] The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress, the plane, and the pine, to beautify the place of my sanctuary, and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
