5. Phase V - God as Divine Warrior is anticipated by the Church who represents the Risen Lord as his agent of the Kingdom, and Jesus returns to earth and restores all things for his glory

II. The Reign of God Has Been Inaugurated through God’s Abrahamic Covenant and God’s Promise.

A. God made a covenant with Abraham, from whose lineage God would manifest the Seed who would crush the serpent, Gen. 12.1-3.

1. God, the Divine Warrior, covenants with Abram to make him a great nation.

a. He would be blessed.

b. His name would be great.

c. Those blessing Abram would be blessed.
