matters, and he will reveal to you what it is, and what you ought to do as a result of what he reveals.

The appropriate kind of prayer in light of the teaching of this lesson is worship, praise, and thanksgiving. To see the resolve of the triune God to come to our aid, to fight our foes, to overturn the effects of the Fall, to send his Son who took on the devil and death for us - this mighty love ought to produce in us a dramatic outpouring of thankful praise. God did not abandon us in our weakened state, but gave his best for us. We ought to find ways to showwhat it means to appropriate the victory of Jesus over our enemies and watch God work through our humble faith. Perhaps there are those in your family or church, at work or in the neighborhood whom we can lift up to God on behalf of Jesus.
