3. What is the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the midst of the body, the Church?

a. He will guide us into all truth, John 15.26.

b. He will glorify Christ in the midst of the body, John 16.14.

c. He will reveal Christ to the lost, Matt. 16.17.

d. He will unify believers in the body, Eph. 4.3.

e. He will call out faithful men and women to ministry, Acts 13.2.

f. He will provide gifts to the members of the body as he wills for its edification, 1 Cor. 12.7.

g. The Holy Spirit is nothing less than the Lord, the Spirit, providing us with signs and wonders of the Kingdom’s power right in the midst of our local church.

III. The Church Is Also the Locus of Authentic Kingdom Life.
