pricked some area of my heart, calling me to a greater love and faith in Jesus, and so, as his more cleansed vessel, better able to yield myself to him as his instrument? Listen carefully to the Holy Spirit, and explore the meaning of these truths for your life today, right where you are.
In a spirit of reverence and openness to God, commit the areas that God has revealed to you to him for his working and healing. Allow God the Holy Spirit to soften your heart, to break you in any area where you have denied his presence, to be cleansed from any besetting or hidden sin that you have toyed with or clung to. Let the Holy Spirit use your insights into the sufferings and death of Messiah to clarify the next steps you must take in your own ministry, as Christ’s servant and minister, to change, to accept, to grow into. Share your insights with your prayer partner, pastor, spouse, or friend, seek their consistent intercession on your behalf. Trust God to continue to lead you step by step as you seek to apply the truths he has revealed in the midst of your meditation. Always know that your mentor is extremely open to walking with you on this, and your church leaders, especially your pastor, may be specially equipped to help you answer any difficult questions arising from your reflection on this study. Be open to God and allow him to lead you as he determines.
