Two of these case studies focus more on the notion of the prophetic in general, and the other two on the idea of inclusion. Both of these themes are the twin emphases of this lesson, applied to the Messianic nature of both. Help the students to probe into some of the practical ramifications of dealing with the prophetic and issues of diversity and acceptance. Both of these issues (the notion of universal truth and the idea of diversity in a complex world) have great significance in our time, specifically for the urban community. Consider these cases with these two major ideas in mind. Reviewing the insights and concepts of this module are critical for the students in terms of their ability to grasp the OT witness to Christ. Help your students understand this basic idea, and challenge them to add to their storehouse of knowledge by pursuing some of the additional resources in the bibliographic list below. Congratulations! You have walked your students through one of the most challenging of all the Capstone modules. However, your work as an instructor and grader begins in earnest now. Make sure that you have commitments for the ministry projects, exegetical projects, and other data together as this will be important for you to determine the student’s overall grade. Again, your discretion regarding late work can easily determine whether you dock students of points, resulting in letter grade changes, or give students an “Incomplete” until the work is finished. However you adopt your standard regarding their work, remember that our courses are not primarily about the grades that students receive, but the spiritual nourishment and training these courses provide. Also, however, remember that helping our students strive for excellence is an integral part of our instruction. Do not forget to canvass all the assignments that are due, and ensure that the students know what to do, how to do it, and when to turn it in.
